Natia Gogadze – Associate
Natia Gogadze has recently joined VBAT team. Before VBAT she was engaged in private advocacy practice. Her professional carrier began at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, where working on International Law department she was analyzing international agreements and preparing recommendations for harmonization of national legislation with international law.
Natia Gogadze graduated from Tbilisi State University in 2008 with Bachelor’s Degree in Law and in 2013 with Master’s Degree in International Law. In 2008-2010 she was studying at the Master’s programme in EU Law at the University of Latvia (European Union scholarship holder). In 2011 she was awarded LL.M in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from Frankfurt University, Germany. Her dissertation was about protection of sex-workers rights and legal status of sex-workers under national legislations and EU law.
Natia gained practical experience at the EU institutions in Brussels and Luxembourg (European Commission, European Parliament, Court of Justice of the European Union, European Council).
In addition to her native Georgian, Natia is fluent in English and Russian languages.
